Product Care & Help Guide

British weather can be unpredictable. To ensure your outdoor furniture, planters, and garden gear stay in top condition through damp autumns, frosty winters, and sunny summers, we recommend following these straightforward care tips:

1. Garden Furniture & Metal Fixtures

  • Seasonal Protection: While frames are built for outdoor conditions, we suggest storing soft furnishings and cushions indoors when rain is forecast.
  • Winter Care: Use breathable, water-resistant covers or store lighter pieces in your shed or garage between November and March.
  • Cleaning: Wipe frames with warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or high-pressure washers, which can damage protective exterior finishes.

2. Timber & Wooden Planters

  • Annual Oiling: Treat natural wood items once a year with a breathable exterior wood preservative or Danish/teak oil to preserve grain and guard against damp rot.
  • Placement: Whenever possible, avoid leaving wooden legs sitting in standing puddle water for extended periods.

3. Garden Tools & Hardware

  • Clean Down: Brush off wet soil from garden tools after use before putting them away in your shed.
  • Rust Prevention: Wipe blades and metal joints with a lightly oiled cloth periodically to keep mechanisms smooth and rust-free.
